Quality and Production Coordinator

Summary of Position

PBE Rénov is seeking a Quality and Production Manager to ensure operational performance, execution quality, and progress of its residential renovation projects.

The person holding this position will ensure that teams and subcontractors complete work according to PBE Rénov's quality standards, established timelines, and project-specific requirements.

This role combines operational supervision, quality control, production monitoring, and continuous improvement of work methods.

Main Responsibilities

Production and Operations

• Monitor the progress of various ongoing projects.
• Ensure that teams have the necessary resources, materials, and information to complete the work.
• Identify obstacles that may slow down production and intervene quickly.
• Coordinate priorities with project managers and site supervisors.
• Verify that work sequences are logical and efficient.
• Monitor production schedules and identify potential delays.
• Participate in planning labor and resources.
• Analyze recurring problems and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the establishment of standardized work methods.
• Ensure that projects progress according to established objectives.

Quality Control

• Regularly conduct site inspections.
• Verify the quality of work performed by employees and subcontractors.
• Identify deficiencies, non-conformities, or incomplete work.
• Document deficiencies and ensure their correction.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections.
• Prepare and follow up on deficiency lists until their complete closure.
• Ensure that work respects PBE Rénov's internal standards.
• Verify the quality of finishes, installations, and visible details before handing over to the client.
• Participate in resolving quality issues reported by clients.
• Identify the causes of recurring problems and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with teams to prevent rework and repetitive errors.

Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain quality control checklists.
• Standardize inspection and project closure procedures.
• Implement indicators to track project quality and performance.
• Analyze delays, deficiencies, and rework to identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in improving PBE Rénov's internal processes.
• Train and sensitize teams to the company's quality standards.
• Contribute to developing a culture focused on quality, responsibility, and efficiency.

Desired Profile

• Significant experience in construction or residential renovation.
• Very good understanding of construction and finishing methods.
• Experience in supervision, quality control, or operations management.
• Ability to quickly recognize execution defects and technical problems.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding of the steps and sequences of a renovation project.
• Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership and ability to enforce high-quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Structured, rigorous, and results-oriented approach.
• Ability to communicate effectively with teams, subcontractors, and project managers.

Requirements and Assets

• Experience as a site supervisor, foreman, quality manager, or production manager is a significant asset.
• Valid driver's license.
• Access to a vehicle for travel between different sites.
• ASP Construction card or applicable certification when required.
• Knowledge of construction norms and practices in Quebec.
• Knowledge of applicable RBQ and CNESST requirements is an asset.
• Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
